Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by! Here you can keep up with my latest photography adventures and endeavors. I love what I do and am very blessed to do this for a living. Please enjoy the images and feel free to leave a comment!

Engaged! Mallory + Jedidiah

I’ve been looking forward to photographing this amazing duo for awhile! Mallory and Jedi (as we affectionately refer to him) are both photographers themselves and had so many creative and out-of-the-box ideas! I was excited to hear they got permission to shoot at the old bus graveyard and the local airport! I definitely cannot wait for their summer wedding… enjoy the preview!

The “First Look”

Modern day weddings have started a trend called the “First Look” — a set up time where the bride and groom see each other before the wedding ceremony to maximize their photo opportunities! Not only is it great for making the most of the hours you’ve hired your photographer for, it can be one of the sweetest and most memorable moments of your wedding day. One of my favorite first looks was in 2010 and I feel like I have to re-share these photos with everyone. The images are so, so special. They bring back the memories of tears all around, including in my eyes!

Engaged! Katie + Reegan

Well this has certainly taken me way too long to post! I photographed these two lovebirds back in November of 2011 and am just now posting—what can I say, the holidays and new year have put me behind a little! Either way, what a beautiful and glowing afternoon we had that November day. It was very cold, but Katie and Reegan were fun and brave in the face of wind and chill. I am really proud of these two and can’t wait for their summer wedding. Enjoy the preview everyone : )

Just Married! Luna + Thomas, December 10, 2011 Athens Chapel Wedding

Luna and Thomas are friends from my college years and when I heard they were getting married and wanted me to photograph the wedding, I was thrilled! I knew it would be fun, crazy, beautiful, and lovely all at the same time. And I was right! With a tie dye and Irish tradition theme, the wedding was so Thomas and Luna. Although they are very fun and silly (mostly Thomas is the silly one… I think), they share a deeply loving relationship, too. Photographing them and their fun bridal party was a blast and I hope everyone enjoys this little peek into their wedding day…

These are the cords Luna made for their hand fastening ceremony… one to represent body, one to represent soul, one to represent spirit.
